What happens when I damage or lose the bag?

Normal wear and tear is covered by Uncloset at no extra cost to you. However, should you return a bag with minor damages that goes beyond normal wear and tear, you will be charged a repair fee, according to the amount and type of damage. If you lose the bag or return it with major and/or irreparable damages, you will be charged 70% of the retail price of the item as displayed on the website.

How does billing work?

You will be billed on the day you purchase a subscription and on the same calendar day of the succeeding months. For other miscellaneous fees, such as extra logistics fees or swap, these charges will appear on your next billing statement. Your subscription will automatically renew every month.

How do I cancel my subscription?

The subscription will automatically renew on the same calendar day each month. If you wish to discontinue your subscription, notify us by updating your Account and Subscription Settings through the website no later than five (5) days before its expiration. Please note that if at the time of attempted cancellation, you maintain in possession of a bag that has not yet been returned to us, or payments for the bags you have decided to purchase have not been paid in full, or if there are any existing outstanding fees that are currently unbilled, we will charge you the unpaid amount in full at the point of cancellation.

I fell in love with my bag! Can I keep it?

Yes! To purchase a bag, log-in to your account and click ‘Swap’. On the right, you’ll see a button 'Purchase for...' listing the price of the bag. Clicking on this button will begin the checkout process.
Once you’ve successfully purchased the item, you are now free to take out a new bag from the catalogue. No delivery or waiting time necessary because the bag is already with you! Please note that you are only allowed to buy the bag currently in your possession.

What's the difference between minor damages and major damages?

Examples of minor damages include minor stains such as pen marks or small and shallow scratches. Repair fee ~£25.
Major damages include major stains such as color transfers, makeup spills, wine, etc. on the interior and/or exterior, deep scratches, broken hardware, and other damages that require major repair. Repair fee ~£100
Rips, holes, gouges on the lining and/or exterior are damages considered beyond repair. You will be charged 70% of the retail price as listed on the site.

How long can I keep a bag?

You may keep a bag for as long as you'd like provided you have an active subscription. So long as your subscription is active, you will be charged the subscription fee on the same day each month.

How soon can I expect to receive my bag?

Your bag will be delivered by DHL within three (3) business days. Please be informed that there are can be no deliveries made on weekends.

What if I want to borrow more than one (1) bag within the month?

Each 30-day subscription comes with a single swap allocation for the month. You may take out additional bags more frequently within the subscription period, but you will be charged a logistics fee of £30 for every additional swap.
