Why Cult Beauty Products Are NOT Worth the Money
Here are a couple of things you should get instead.

We’ve all reached that point in our lives where we’ve asked ourselves the eternal question: is it worth it? What it is differs for every single one of us: a partner, a job, an exotic locale, the dream bag, or the “perfect” concealer. The things we do for them are not always dignified, not always warranted, or not always legal, but at the end of the day, we need to have what we need to have—no matter the cost.
We, at Uncloset, love a good product with a cult following—we do for two reasons: (1) the community built around it vouches for the product, so we know it’ll for sure be amazing, and (2) we love supporting up-and-coming brands because we’ve been there, we know the struggle; it’s sort of a shared history. The thing is, these products are usually sold in limited quantities (aka always sold out), and are on the higher end of the price gamut of their respective categories. This makes them harder and harder to hoard, we mean, get.
Below is a list of our favorite cult beauty products put up against some of our favorite pieces on the site. With each picture, ask yourself—is it still worth it?
